Mohegan Training Centre
Karen helped my 14 year old daughter with floating issues for her horse. Karen was gentle and kind and also explained everything she did so clearly. Not only did our horse self load but my anxious daughter was able to ask her horse to be present and respond to small requests so easily. I highly recommend Karen for any type of work with horses (and people) - she is amazing.

I’ve just resumed my horsemanship journey, and I’m very glad I found Karen/Mohegan! After having a traumatic fall last year, it was really helpful to have Karen by my side, she is very trauma informed and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to get me comfortable in the saddle again and was very encouraging. She is incredibly tuned into her horses and their needs/behaviours. Very excited to continue!

Thank you Karen and to all the wonderful horses at Mohegan who have supported and guided me on my horsewomanship journey. Karen is an amazing trainer and coach and her skills, knowledge and wisdom are priceless. She is very passionate, understanding and caring to both horses and humans. Karen and her herd are amazing. I never thought I would ride again but within one session I was back in the saddle. Extremely caring and experienced. Has helped me greatly.

I had amazing time, learning about horsemanship and how to have a conversation with your horse, with Karen. I attended my first equitation lesson today and I enjoyed every second of it!Karen would answer my questions during the theory part thoroughly and for me it was a great introduction to the equestrian discipline of equitation in which I knew almost nothing about before today.I came as a spectator to watch the riding part of the lesson to see how it all goes.Near the end of the lesson, Karen kindly let me have a small ride on one of her experienced horses to have a go at one of the equitation obstacles.Thank you once again Karen for an awesome morning and I'm sure I will be back once again in the near time future. :)

Mohegan is a wonderful place to learn horsemanship, or extend your knowledge on horses. all the horses there are amazing and caring as they are trained by a wonderful lady. When you go there you are greeted by all the caring people and they make you feel so welcome. I am 13 years old and have been inspired to be a horse trainer from learning at Mohegan.
